Productivity Hacks that will Change your Life

Work smarter, not harder. Why stress about the work you need to get done when you could be relaxing after checking everything off your to-do list. Here are some hacks that will get you hustling

1.) Time Blocks

Divide your day into blocks dedicated to different tasks such as School, work, errands, etc. This allows you to decipher which parts of the day you need to be more concentrated on. For example, if you are a morning person, plan your work in the morning and errands in the evening.

2.) Section off your To-Do lists

Divide your tasks based on how time-consuming they are and their importance. Some tasks on this list can take five minutes. Others might be something you want to complete in five months. Writing down everything will keep you focused on your goals.

3.) Take Breaks

This might seem counterproductive to you, but trust me, you'll get more done if you take 15-minute breaks every hour or so compared to sitting at your desk for 5 hours straight. By the time you get to the third hour, you'll most likely have lost focus on the task at hand/

4.) Have a Dedicated Workspace

Don't to your work anywhere. Do not work in your bed or the couch. This will make you feel too comfortable. Work somewhere you can LEAVE once you're done. Whether it's a coffee shop or desk in your home, make sure it is somewhere that leaves you with no distractions.

5.) Use a Scheduling App

You might think you can remember that zoom call at 3 pm, but a scheduling app can remember it better. Especially now, with many working remote, we have fewer people to remind when we have meetings or projects due. That's where a scheduling app saves the day.

6.) Switch off After Work

It's easier said than done, but once you're done with work physically, turn it off mentally as well. Make it clear to clients or employees that you have limits, and after a specific time, you are no longer in "work mode."
