Alone With My Thoughts: Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson

I am not a Kardashian fan and I really don’t want to be, yet I am so fascinated by them. I am always drawn in by any drama and gossip that comes from that family. I never kept up with the show week to week, but I would watch it if it was on, so I feel like I have a pretty basic understanding of the Kardashians. They own the media and pop culture, so even if you’re not the biggest fan of them, we all know when something is going on with them.
In utterly shocking news -can you sense my sarcasm?- human trash bag Tristan Thompson has cheated on Khloe Kardashian for the 3rd? 4th? 5th time? I really can’t even keep up - ha - with this anymore. At this point, I no longer feel bad for Khloe. I think this is a pretty shared opinion now. In no way am I saying that Tristan’s cheating is Khloe’s fault. What is her fault though, is how she keeps taking him back.
When the news broke that Tristan had allegedly cheated on a pregnant Khloe with Jordyn Woods - I still don’t think Jordyn was treated fairly in that situation but I don’t think I’m a qualified enough fan to get into that - I vividly remember being shocked. This wasn’t even the first time he had cheated on her while she was pregnant. It felt like Khloe was finally getting everything she wanted, and it was suddenly ruined. And the world felt for her. And then it happened again.
I legitimately had to Google “how many times did Tristan cheat on Khloe” to get a better understanding of this situation. It seems like the most recent incident is the one we’re all talking about now. Tristan cheated on Khloe with Maralee Nichols, and I think we know what happened from there. (If you don’t, Maralee gave birth to a baby in December; Tristan tried to claim it wasn’t his; it’s his).
What really prompted me to write this article was a Tik Tok I saw about how Tristan may have damaged Khloe’s brand. Tik Tok creator @hotweirdg0rl says “one of the things that made Khloe resonate so hard with the fans was that she was the strong sister”. She points out that Khloe constantly stood up for her sisters and herself by knowing not to accept any less than what they deserve. “We’re now beginning to view [Khloe] as weak, especially in light of how she continues to take Tristan back after every cheating scandal.”
Khloe has made it extremely difficult for anyone to feel bad for her. She is well aware of what this man does, yet continues to take him back. It’s like she’s conditioning him; rewarding him for bad behavior. I really don’t even care about these people and I am sitting here wondering what she’s thinking.
As fed up as I am with Khloe, I do want to end this article by saying that Tristan Thompson is an embarrassment. We can only hope that she drops him for good this time.
