F-Boy Island. Let's Talk About It.

Has anyone here watched F Boy Island? I recently finished it and I felt attacked.

F boy island is a dating reality show hosted by Nikki Glaser on HBO Max that follows three women in the world of dating. These three women are faced with the daunting task of navigating through f-boys and good guys to choose one guy as their match. This is where it gets complicated. If she chooses a good guy and he chooses her, they get 100,000 together. If she chooses an f-boy, and he doesn’t choose her, he alone wins the money. As you can imagine, this show is filled with tons of dating drama.

Spoiler Alert: If you want to watch this show, STOP READING!

This show is cringey. Through watching these three women, I was forced to reflect on my dating history and remember the bad choices I made. We watch Nakia, CJ, and Sarah, trust the wrong guys and treat good guys like f-boys. Honestly, it’s sometimes hard to watch, especially when you can hear the guy’s side of things. We see bad choice after bad choice being made by these women and it’s hard to decide to support these women or pity them.

Now let’s talk about Sarah. Sarah dug herself into a deep hole with Garrett and ran through every single red flag that surfaced. In the end, the two men Nakia and CJ selected chose the women over the money and they got to split the money.

CJ chose Jarred Evans or New Jarred as he called on the show and I think she is the biggest winner! He’s a looker! 😍

Sarah, unfortunately, got played by Garrett - which we all saw coming, but we can’t blame Sarah for choosing the wrong guy. We’ve all been played by the F boy or F girl and we’ve all chosen to ignore red flags. Maybe after watching the show, we will be more aware of who we choose and who is actually best for us.

Who do you always fall for, the F boy or the nice guy?
