Wait, You Got That Glow

Wait, you got the glow! Yes, my goal in the winter season is to keep my skin still glowing.

I am an avid skincare addict. You can ask anyone who knows me about how I cherish my skincare collection. I have different skincare routines for each season. Let's not forget my first piece on skincare in back in winter 2016; HELLO WINTER AND DRY SKIN.

I love to try new products and figure out what works best with my skin for the colder months. Everyone knows I love anything Glossier, Origins, and Kiehl's.

Over the last few weeks, my skin has been having severe rough patches and mini breakouts. Lately, I’ve been adding Thayers Witch Hazel toner and cocoa butter to my routine for extra moisture to my skin.

In the morning, I am an avid user of Glossier Milk Jelly Cleanser, Glossier Vitamin C Serum, Kiehl’s moisturizer and Olay. Yes, I double up on moisturizer for my morning routine.

At night I am all about hydration. I use a face mask depending on the day. It could be Origins Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay or Origins Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores. After the mask, I apply Thayers Witch Hazel toner to even out any discolored areas.

After the toner, I uses the Super Bounce or Super Pure serums, depending on my skin needs. If I feel like I’m going have a mini-breakout, I use the Super Pure serum.

After all the serums, I apply Cocoa Butter all over my face and neck to keep my face extra glossy. I also apply Origins Night cream and Glossier priming thick moisture.

I know it seems like a lot of over moisturizing . . . but my skin is begging for the hydration in the winter.

Another great tip is to drink lots of water with lemon and tea.

What are you go-to skin care routines for winter? Let’s talk about it!
