Love Is Blind Season 2 Episode 1

This season of love is blind started off perfectly! In episode one, we see representation from black women plus size women Pacific Islanders short people tall people I had high hopes.

As the first episode starts to unfold, we see the men and the women starting to bond, but one thing we see in particular is Trisha, Shaina, Shake, Shane, and Danielle.
And this is where it starts to get problematic and these five people are the most problematic.

For me, Trisha is hard to watch. She’s obviously confident which is great, but she is arrogant to the point of tearing down other women, which is a serious no-no. She is targeting Danielle specifically because Danielle and Trisha are both interested in Nick - which is an even bigger no-no. So Trisha is not one of our favs.

Shaina is obviously head over heels for Shane and competing with Natalie for his attention. It’s interesting to see her pod relationship with Shane start to take shape. We will have to watch to see which lady will steal Shane’s heart. Could it be a repeat of last season’s drama with Jessica, Barnett, and Amber?

And Shane is a handful. He’s not necessarily problematic, but he’s very high energy and a people pleaser. Hopefully, this doesn’t get him into trouble.

Shake is so self-centered and superficial it’s disgusting. He asks every woman a question to determine their physical features to weed out the “unattractive ones.” Luckily, one of the women puts him in his place and points out that this is rude and he seems to have learned a lesson from it.

Lastly, let’s focus on Danielle. Danielle is a sweetheart. She’s caring, she's kind, and seems to be exactly what Nick needs, but we’ll see if he gets distracted by Trisha or not.

All in all, this show is about making real connections. There seem to be a few opportunities for it, but we will see if there are real connections this season and how messy it will get.

Are you watching? Who’s your favorite couple?
