Bachelorette Recap: FINAL ROSE.

This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for!! After a heartbreaking ending to Greg and Katie’s journey, will she quit and book her flight home as she said or will she move forward and find the man of her dreams? Will it be Justin or Blake?!

Kaitlyn and Tayshia inform Blake and Justin that Greg has decided to leave. This week’s dates also offer an overnight option.

Later on, Blake and Katie go on a water balloon paint fight date. Katie seemed to be cheerful and happy. They two end the afternoon in a hot tub, where Katie tells Blake that Michael and Greg left. She is honest about her feelings and opens up about wanting to quit. I didn’t love Blake's reaction; his answer to her opening up was just making out with her. I see a lot of lust in this relationship.

During the night portion of the date, Blake tells Katie he loves her. Her response is “I fu***** love you so much.” The two decide to share a room for the night.

Now that Katie has confessed her love for Blake, she still has Justin waiting back at the resort. In the morning, Katie tells Kaitlyn that Blake is “the one.”

Katie and Justin meet later, she sits him down and tells him that she told Blake that she is in love with him. With this being said, she cannot move forward with her relationship with Justin. She says goodbye to Justin.

This leaves only Blake left.

Katie’s mom and aunt visit New Mexico to meet Blake. This hometown is wack. Katie’s aunt is nuts.

Her family basically says that Katie doesn’t need a man. Blake tells them that he is planning on visiting Africa soon. His family seems skeptical of him.

Katie’s Aunt Lindsey and Blake have a conversation. She is absolutely brutal. She tells Blake that he failed out of his past two relationships. She also tells Blake that he means nothing and they don’t need him. Blake explains that his parents are divorced, and Lindsey compares it to being in a trainwreck. This makes Blake reconsider his decision to jump into a proposal.

That night, Katie and Blake have one final date before the end of their journey. They do a ceremonial burning of Zozobra, which is a New Mexican tradition. This releases any negativity and brings in new beginnings.

With the help of Tayshia and Neil Lane, Blake chooses an engagement ring for Katie. The reality sets in for Blake as he finalizes his ring decision.

Set with a beautiful mountain range and New Mexican style pottery, Blake gets down on one knee and proposes to Katie with a gorgeous 3-carat diamond ring. Katie say yes!

So it’s official, Bachelorette Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes are engaged!!

Although this was not my first choice, I am happy for the two and wish them luck.

The two make their first public appearance on After the Final Rose, they seem happy and in love.

But the most dramatic part is yet to come because Greg is at the show and is ready to speak to Katie for the first time since he left.

Greg and Katie sit down together and discuss their breakup. Before they meet, Greg says he has zero regrets about the show. Greg’s shy and heartbroken personality is pummeled by Katie’s brutal and downright mean accusations of Greg never loving her and his presumed acting resume. She yells into his face, calls him a liar which shows that she is very obviously still hurt by their relationship. Katie makes herself out to be very cruel and accuses Greg of gaslighting her, while she is doing the exact same to him, and she then gives a very incorrect definition of gaslighting.

Obviously, Katie still isn’t over Greg, while claiming she is very happy with her new fiance, Blake.
