Hello Winter and Dry Skin

Well, winter has arrived and so has my dry skin.

Don’t get me wrong I love the cold weather so I can wear all my winter staples. I love a good jacket and a bunch of layers. But winter can cause havoc on my skin. I always feel like my skin is extra dry.Over the years I’ve learned a few good beauty tricks to keep my skin looking hydrated and still glow in these upcoming months.

I am addicted to Nivea Cocoa Butter Lotion and LUSH Rose Body Lotion. I am a huge fan. Both products keep your skin hydrated and smooth. I use it right after I get out the shower. I like to combine both of them. First, I will use the Nivea Cocoa Butter lotion and then use the LUSH products right afterward.

For my face, I am a skincare addict. My bathroom is full of skin care products. The four top products I use Origins, Kiehl's, Lush, and Glossier. Those four products are in rotation in my daytime and nighttime routine. But the major staple I’ve been using for my skincare routine is Olay Moisturizer. I’ve been using Olay since I was a kid. I use to follow my mom's routine in the morning. It does wonders for your skin.

For daytime, I use Origins Checks and Balances or Glossier Milky Cleanser. Both products are fantastic for my combination skin. I also use Glossier Vitamin-C serum. I pack on moisturizer. I usually go between Origins Gin-zing and Olay. The skin underneath my eyes can be dry and puffy, so I always apply Kiehl's Eye Alert.

My nighttime routine can vary depending on my skin conditions. I usually wash my face with LUSH Ultra band and then use Origins Night mask method for dark spots. I get dark spots in the wintertime. It clears up so quickly with this mask. If not using the mask I just apply Origins Night time cream.

Also, I always to make sure I use Vaseline at night for my lips since it gets so chapped in the winter months. Throughout the day, I use Glossier Lip Balm. It lasts all day!
