Inspired by the idea that lingerie isn’t just something to be worn in the bedroom but out of it as well, sisters and owners of Beverly Hills Lingerie, Joline and Celine are taking that sexy, confidence lingerie brings and turning it into fun, fashion, streetwear.
So She Slays had a chance to speak with these boss ladies about their business and just what it means to take what we like to wear privately and make it public.
WHY START BEVERLY HILLS LINGERIE?
The message behind Beverly Hills Lingerie is sexy and simple: lingerie is not limited to bedroom or the enjoyment of another. It can be worn with feist, grace, and sheer confidence just for oneself. Females are powerful, graceful, and showrunners. Beverly Hills Lingerie was created because we are two sisters living in the millennial age, and we noticed the gap in the streetwear lingerie industry in reasonably priced, trendy, sexy lingerie. We needed to build a brand for all women alike. Ladies, we run the world.
HOW IS IT WORKING WITH YOUR SISTER?
We are fortunate enough to have different skill sets that truly complement each other. As similar in character as we are, our talents in business vary and we are able to divide roles and turn our business visions into a reality hand in hand. It’s been an absolute privilege to be able to work together and we wouldn’t have done it any other way. Working with a family member can be tricky, but if done properly it can be the most rewarding the fulfilling thing in the world.

Our thoughts are simple: lingerie is powerful, sexy, bold, and empowers the female community in more ways than one. In society beauty is praised, especially in today’s day and age where the idea of perfection is more sought out than ever before. However, what is even more killer than beauty, is lingerie. Lingerie is lethal because when a woman is in the right fit of lingerie, anything is possible. She has the confidence to rule the society with sass, feist, and grace. And that my friends, is the package of a woman to kill.
WHY DO YOU THINK LINGERIE AS A STREETWEAR FASHION TREND STOOD THE TEST OF TIME?
Sexy never goes out of style. Lingerie is the one fashion staple in every woman’s closet that is sexy, classic, timeless, and soon versatile and stylish thanks to Beverly Hills Lingerie! Keeping up with the innovation and evident style trends, streetwear lingerie is a cross between sexy, classy, and stylish.
HOW DO YOU STYLE YOUR FAVORITE LINGERIE PIECES FOR STREETWEAR?
We style our Feist bralette over our Enigma bralette, and pair it with sexy high waisted jeans and a leather jacket. That is our all time favorite look to slay in. We also love our Temper bodysuit with track pants and heels, or jeans and booties. Our customers like to mix and match and are truly innovative in their styling - we’ve loved learning how they experiment with and style our items! Our main tip is, be experimental, the sexiest. The most effortless looks are created when you least expect it.
YOU HAVE A GREAT COLLECTION OF PIECES. WHICH ARE YOUR FAVORITE?
I wish we could say all! Our collection is so carefully crafted and curated that we are in love with all of our products, but especially our Feist bralette which is our best seller by a landslide. We love Feist because it is our most versatile item. It really embodies our slogan, “lingerie for a night in… or a night out” because it truly is the perfect streetwear or bedroom wear bralette.
SOME WOMEN FIND LINGERIE INTRIGUING BUT ARE INTIMIDATED BY IT. WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND WOMEN DO TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE A GOOD EXPERIENCE?
Lingerie was created to give confidence. Unfortunately, in today’s world, confidence is greatly lacking yet highly desired. We want to give the old feeling back - lingerie is supposed to make you feel sexy whether it’s for yourself or another, and wearing it out can aid in bringing back the vintage confidence. Trendy, stylish, and affordable lingerie is hard to find, making all other lingerie brands intimidating. Quality lingerie is important in your experience because you want to feel as high quality as what you’re in.
WHAT IS IT ABOUT LINGERIE THAT MAKES WOMEN FEEL POWERFUL?
A whole wardrobe devoted to sexiness screams power. Not only because it was made to allure men, but because lingerie is simply glamorous. It is universally known as attractive. Throwing on something that you know is generally appealing makes you feel that confidence on the inside as well. Ultimately, it is designed to give power, sensuality, and femininity. We also strive to be authentic and genuine on all platforms as we want all our customers, followers, and fans to see the two sisters behind the brand, humanizing the brand.
DESCRIBE YOUR SLAY.
Oh baby do we SLAY! Females are strong, sexy, captivating, and extraordinary human beings. We slay everyday by empowering all ladies around us, every space, every time. We truly are all superwoman - we do it all. Our everyday includes meetings, interviews, design meetings, inventory meetings, etc. It really depends what we have going on and when. For example, our pop-up last week was so overwhelming and we had to put all our focus into that for a couple days. Whether it be at pilates, in meetings, or at a photoshoot, we founders try to slay in everything we do!
