You change the world by being yourself

We live in a world where we are constantly told who we should be if you ask me it’s hard to let go but life is so precious when you allow yourself to be exactly who you are. Being your true self is the most effective formula for success there is. Let go of who you think you need to be and start being who you actually are. A lot of you probably saying how the heck can I manage to do that, so I came up with some good ideas that actually helped me throughout my Journey.

Let go of the toxic self.

By letting go of your toxic habits can also improve your inner self. In the last past seasons, I have touched rock bottom. Some may call it depression or breakdown. But when you fall down 9 times and get up 10 I call it a spiritual awakening.


Love yourself.

Loving yourself and only yourself is the highest point of being yourself. Despite all the things that you think may be terribly wrong with you either the blemishes on your skin, your bloated stomach, your hair or something that you highly dislike about yourself and still continue to love yourself. We’re not perfect in this world so mine as well is you, for you. Yet for so long I struggled to be this person for myself. it’s not an easy process to manage if you ask me, but at the end of the day, it’s worth it all. Self-love should be the easiest thing in the world. But let’s be real for a minute, it’s not. It’s hard. Especially when you’re born into a society that insists on making you feel undesirable, unworthy and most particularly as a woman of color. I came a long way of achieving many things in my life and I’ve been on my journey of self-discovery, personal growth, and transformation. I’m still learning, still growing and still rediscovering myself day by day. Being able to see me in other women who are doing the same is what has made that possible. So love you! For you! You’re amazing.


Forgive yourself.

Take a step back and look at the bigger picture, not just those guilt-inspiring moments of your life. Remind yourself that you are not perfect, everyone makes mistakes, and that you too, deserve to be forgiven. If you have some spiritual meditation techniques that can help you let go I recommend you to do so.


Accept yourself for who you truly are.

Becoming more accepting of yourself and loving yourself for the fine person that you truly are can lead you to beautiful opportunities, greater happiness, and more fulfilling life. Focus on the positive qualities, accept your imperfections. Also positive self-talks every morning can make your morning/day right it’s life-changing believe me. And most importantly disregard what other people might think about you or your decisions. Do your very best every day and be proud of yourself for your efforts. YOU’RE DOING GREAT BABE! KEEP GOING.


Adopt new habits.

If you want to be healthy and you don’t currently have good health, began adopting a few habits that will lead you to greater health. For example, start giving yourself an extra 15 minutes to get where you need to go. Even if you’re early, it’s better than being late. Work on yourself and your new habits until you’ve achieved the state of health you desire. REPEAT UNTIL YOU REACH YOUR GOALS!

In addition, It really is that simple. Out with the old, in with the new. One day you’ll wake up and realize you’re exactly the way you want to be. It will feel very refreshed and awesome. Sometimes it takes days, months, years but it’s definitely worth the effort. YOU GOT THIS, NEVER GIVE UP ON YOURSELF!
