Bachelorette Recap: Blake's arrival and Thomas's departure

Blake is here…..!!!!!!!

The episode begins with a group date, with Katie in another flannel jacket. The date is planned to find which man has the best sense of humor… very important in a relationship. The game is Truth or Dare. So fun!

Some of the dares include eating like 20 Twinkies, whispering into a large ear, and waxing each other’s bodies.

Last but not least, the men have to eat two hot peppers, and while their mouth is on fire, they have to get on one knee and propose to Katie.

Greg said “I love you.” during this burning moment. AGHH!

Tre takes it upon himself to tell Katie that Thomas is not here for the right reasons and that he is very manipulative. He tells Katie that he believes Thomas came out with intention of becoming the next Bachelor.

Tayshia arrives at Katie’s door to inform her that Blake has arrived in New Mexico to meet Katie, and he strongly believes that he and Katie could really be something.

Blake Moynes is from Clare Crowley’s season of the Bachelorette but after Clare and Dale quickly ended the show, Tayshia picked up and they formed a connection, but she sent him home before hometown dates.

While trying to decide what to do about Blake’s arrival, Katie’s mind is overwhelmed with making a decision about what to do with the rumors surrounding Thomas’s intentions.

Thomas arrives at Katie’s door to discuss the allegations. She isn’t content with his answers and is devasted with the two-faced behavior.

Katie inquires about Thomas with every other man in the house, and they all inform her that he is the villian.

I really like that Katie took her season this seriously and is actually making attempts to find out the truth rather than ignoring all the red flags like past seasons.

During the rose ceremony, Katie pulls the most badass move ever. Thomas attempts to apologize to Katie during the ceremony. She picks up the rose and calls Thomas forward. Instead of handing him the rose, she lectures him on his “selfish, unkind, and dishonest antics. She tells him to “get out.” QUEEN!

Unfortunately, she sends home Christian. He was so cute.

After sending Thomas home, she goes and gets Blake from his hotel room. She invites Blake to stay and join the group.

The men are gonna be so mad. I can’t wait.
