OCEAN'S 8-FEMALE BOSSES ON SCREEN

Oscar winner actresses, comedic genius, movie legends, TV screen idols, hip-hop muse and a music icon that goes by bad girl RiRi all in one movie.  Can you imagine having all these boss ladies on one screen? Well on June 8, 2018, we are about to get blessed with all of them in the upcoming film Ocean’s 8. 

Ocean’s 8 is the spinoff of the Ocean’s Trilogy made famous by George Clooney and the gang.  I am a huge fan of all the actresses that are confirmed to be in this movie. The cast includes Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson and hip-hop artist Awkwafina will make up the star-studded cast.

I love the Ocean’s movies, but I can't wait to see what these talented women bring to the screen. I don’t believe in people labeling it as a female reboot. I believe it’s a great addition to a great crime trilogy. Females are empowering, smart and just bosses.  We don’t need to be labeled as a female version of a classic movie but we are making our legacy. No details about the plot of the film have been released but I know with these dope women on screen we can only expect the best for a future Summer blockbuster.
